    Race Pictures dial up beware

I went to the Monterey Festival of Speed at Laguna Seca this weekend. They had vintage IMSA, Rolex GP, Champ cars, and Formula BMW all running this weekend. I shot a bunch of photos, they can be seen here:

Thanks for the memories, Tom. While I don't recall the car names and designations I remember being a kid and watching those slippery, sexy coupes slinking throught the 'esses'. Slot car tracks were just getting their start and I imagined my car at Leguna-Seca. Thanks again!
    Blessings,
    Chiz

You got some great shots there. Really good pictures. That's a cool track. I attended a race there in the 60's while doing some specialized training in the Army. The track was right on Fort Ord's Army base. Made it real convenient.

It couldn't have been closer to Ford Ord! Ford Ord is now Cal State University Monterey Bay, no more Army base. It's an odd collection of run down military buildings and modern college architecture.

It is a fun track to watch races, you also get to walk the pits with the price of admission, which is worth the price alone.
