The oldest graduated college Saturday, we are very proud of him. He was magna cum Laud and that ain't too shabby. We ended up renting a U-Haul and packing and loading him up. So home we came and unloaded/unpacked. That took Friday through Sunday. He starts interviewing Monday I think he said.
I had just put down a laminate floor in his room to help with his allergies, not real hard but a lot of prep and that ran several evenings last week. It looks good but I still need to get the baseboard down, probably Saturday. Also got the murphy bed mounted that I had built over the last year. It is 90% done but I ran out of time for the finishing. I'll have to do that around his accreation field.
Yesterday afternoon I get a call from LOMLs office that she is on her way to the ER after engaging in some stair surfing. She badly sprained her ankle and has some very colorful bruises to show for her little mis-step. But all is well (compared to what could have happened) and a couple days bed rest will have her back in action albeit in slow motion for a while. They scared me when they called and they started with "Anne fell down the stairs and we've called 911". It took a while to drag out of them that she was conscious and hurt but no bones sticking out or bleeding. She hates bed rest but since she can't stand it sorta limits her options. The good news is she couldn't catch me when I called her hoppy as she tried to navigate on her crutches tonight, no doubt I'll pay for that later.
It has been a very full week, but I hope that after this weekend I can get back to some of the projects I have in the shop and maybe be ready to post some pictures of the conference table I've been working on.
