    wood Magazine subscription

About a year ago I subscribed to wood magazine and today I got an "anniversary" invoice where I can pickup another two years for $37 dollars but I have the 2 years subscription and only paid $28. So I go to the website and there it is again, 2 years @ $28. Does anyone know if this is just an intro rate to get you hooked? Can I just resubscribe at $28 rate? If anyone knows before I send messages to their support please let me know.

    Thanks
    Terry

When i renewed a couple of months ago, i called them up and told them that i wanted to resubscribe, but not for the $37 in the notice they mailed. I asked them for the rate on their web page ($28/2 years). It took them a minute to find the right code, but they had no problem giving me that price. The hardest part was trying to find the phone number to call.

There was recently a post on this in the bargains forum. I called and renewed 3 years for $28. All I did was call and say I saw the deal online somewhere and she accepted it, no questions.

This is timely for me because I just got the notice that my last issue is coming up. I just need to stop procrastinating and get it renewed.

Wow, you have been here since March and you are already nauseous?

I just read the FF and didn't see this topic covered. If you could point out where it can be found in the FF, I'd be interested in seeing it.

I have noticed that in general practice, this is a polite and helpful forum. While it isn't actually covered in the FF, I have noticed that most folks, when confronted with a question that makes them nauseous, will either ignore it or do their best to answer in a helpful and friendly way.

Just placed my order for the 3-1 deal for $28.99 and got a bonus gift of "best tablesaw tips and jigs".

Totally agree with the polite and helpful... I looked for the FAQ after getting the nice way of being rude, RTFF. I did not see it covered. Nice to see other folks posting friendly replies.

Forgot the mention that I called and got the 3 for $28 as well but not sure about the "table saw" tip gift.

                    Glad I didn't pay $37 for 2 years
