    Been missingg for a bit . . .

I have been missing for a while. My son and I have just closed on 200 acres of ranchland about 60 miles from my house. We have been in the process of getting the paperwork sorted out and are now in possession and ready to get to work. First plans are to move a small trailer and get the electricity, plumbing and water hooked up.

Glad you're back. I thought all the land around Lubbock was cotton fields, I figured ranch land was as scarce as trees

That's a nice chunk of dirt. Plenty of room for a shop. What are your plans for it?

Boy, am I envious! What a tremendous opportunity for all sorts of things. Mine would lean toward wildlife habitat and food plots but hey, hey sky's the limit and it's all yours. Congrats and welcome back!
          Blessings,
