    It's a small world

After the funeral last Saturday, we all met at my daughter's home. I was sitting on the floor, watching the Cubs game, when one of the 6 year olds in the family came over and asked me what I was doing. I told her I was just waiting for her to come over to talk to me. I asked her how she was doing in school. She said she was doing just fine. Then she told me about her teacher.

Her teacher went to the other side of the world, and she brought some chocolate back with her. I asked her what they called that place on the other side of the world. She admitted that she could be wrong, but she seemed pretty confident when she said "Virginia"!

That would have qualified for that old TV show. I think it was Art Linkletter and possibly "Kids Say The Darndest Things"

My wife was babysitting our 3 1/2 year old grandaughter last Saturday, and was offering her a snack (don't remember what it was) when the grandaughter said she couldn't eat it because it was "junk food". Gotta love them!
