    A Face Only a Sibling Could Love . . . .

We had a couple of locals spend last night in our front yard. When I opened the blinds they jumped up and seem to be either playing "kissy-face" or conferring about that wierd two-legged character looking at them through the window.

Actually these two youngsters, along with their Mom, spent the winter in the neighborhood. It now looks like Mom has sent them on their way to make a life for themselves in the wilds of Anchorage.

So, do moose really have a face only a sibling could love?

    Regards, Steve

Actually, I think they are kinda cute. I wouldn't try to get too friendly with them though. Even at their size they can pack a wallop.

How great can that be! Look in the front yard and see mooses (plural?) You have to love that view! No shooting allowed.

Plural of moose is moose (although my personal preference would be "moosi" or "moosage").

That must be a treat to open your blinds and see them. All I see around here are squirrels.
