Dust collector wasn't working so good all of a sudden

Of course first thing I checked was if it was full. Nope, not even a quarter full. So I start checking the lines for a plug and there is nothing to be found. So, disassemble the hose into the impeller thinking maybe it sucked up some shavings that got caught. Crawl under and look, nothing.
Finally stick my hand up in there to feel around and WTH is that? Seems that at some point this morning I sucked up a shop rag which was nicely woven into the impeller. I'd have thought that would make a lot of noise but no. Anyway all is back to normal and my router table project continues.

Glad your problem was an easy fix. My DC is a 650 Cfm roll a-round which I also use to clean the bench, floor, etc. I get rags, leaves, paper, latex gloves and what-ever light is laying loose. Better than the ShopVac which sucks up bolts, nails, screws, screwdrivers, drill bits and more. I always have to sift through the sawdust to make sure I'm not throwing anything of value out.

I found out the hard way that when the seperator is full they don't work very well either.
