    Pillow Talk

LOML is having a tingling in her arms and fingers which turns into numbness. So, she hotfoots it to the doctor and he recommends her to try a Tempur -Pedic neck pillow like this.

So, now after about weeks worth of nights, she says that after about 5 minutes the tingling and numbness goes away, but after she gets up for the day it comes back intermittently.

I remember many years ago I had a similar problem and my doctor said to try no pillow, or just a rolled up towel to lay the neck on. It did seem to help. Anyone here have any experience with those type pillows, or Tempur-Pedic brand?

My wife has the sleep # pillow which is I believe shaped like that one, it supports the neck. She has 4 fused vertebrae and was having problems with some numbness in the hands and after a couple months with this pillow is not having any more issues with that.

I've been using a pillow like that for years. I quite like it, certainly recommend it. I got mine from Costco, and it's the same sort of memory foam but a whole lot cheaper than the Tempur brand. I paid about $20 and IIRC the Tempur version was about $90.
