    A More Realistic Matchup

Both threads have been dissimilar opponents.

How about 15 rounds between Joe Luis and Mohammed Ali, both in their prime?

This was done on a computer in the 70's and had Ali taking 3 punches from Luis for every 1 he landed, to win on a decision.

Sorry, ain't a man alive now or then was going to take that kind of hits from the Bronx Bomber for 45 minutes. Luis by a KO in 5.

I will agree with Pappy Luis by a KO. Saw Ali fight Archie Moore in LA in the early 60's as Cassius Clay, he beat Moore but Archie was over the hill then. I think any of old timers in their prime would have cleaned house on the latest batch of heavy weights inclucing Tyson. Ali lost a lot of money by refusing the draft and going to jail for his beliefs duing the Viet Nam war. Didn't agree with him but respected him for staying here and doing his time. Never did hear him complain about either. (no political statement intended)

In both of their prime's, I don't think Lewis could hit Ali that many times with good blows. I voted for Ali by decision. Joe was way too slow for Ali. Just my opinion.
