    A pretty good movie

We got "American Gangster" to watch today. It is based on a true story. I recommend it, but be aware that there are several scenes you might not want your kids to watch because of nudity and language. Good story.

Sounds like the kind of movie I like, and I've added it to my Netflix queue.

I notice you don't mention violence as a reason to keep it away from the kids eyes, but based on the title I would assume there is some if not a bunch....?

Saw it at the movies when it first came out. Very good, intense with great performances and as Ed mentioned this is not one to sit down with your 10 yr old to watch!!

        I agree. It's a very good movie.

Another very good movie, "No Country for Old Men".

I would also add Eastern Promises to that list. Great movie, great performances.

I thought that would be assumed (I know I shouldn't make assumptions). There was quite a lot of violence.
