    Thank Goodness For Advertising

LOML and I saw an ad on TV for OREO CAKESTERS. She included them on her shopping list for today. I've got to tell ya-all, if ya like Oreo's, you'll go crazy for the Cakesters.

That looks good and kind of familiar also. A couple of years ago in Chiang Mai, Thailand, I got something like that at a Starbucks. It tasted just like a creamy Oreo with a devils cake top and bottom. I ate one a day for the week long stay. Afterwards, I looked and looked at SB everywhere (US and Japan) for those again, but no go.

Maybe SB was testing them for Oreo! Anyway, I am glad to see them come on the market!

I'm pretty sure these are the exact treats I had that reminded me enough of the Whoopie Pies I get when I'm in Maine or when my Mother in Law makes them. They aren't as good, but a nice treat to get me close

          Gee thanks Cab,

Just when I decide to loose weight, you tempt me with more empty calories, which I love. Pass the pork rinds, anyone!

I'll tell ya what Bruce. I'm all for diet and exercise. I'm in pretty good shape for 125 yrs old. Anyway, here's what you do. They come in a two-pack. Open it up and take just one out and bite off just an itsy bitsy edge...and that's it.

                .

Yeah, right. Like a person could take ONLY one itsy bitsy bite.

                Regards, Steve

Got some today. They were a little smaller than I was expecting but I made up for it by eating more!

THEY ARE GREAT! I know what I am filling my suitcase with to take back to Japan!
