    The Perfect Snow

It started snowing here yesterday about 12:00 noon & quit sometime this morning. All in all we ended up with about 6 inches of snow. The roads didn't start to cover over until about midnight & they are already mostly clear this morning in town.

The really good thing is the temp tomorrow will be in the 50's so 2 days of snow to enjoy, then it's outta here!

Nope, that's not the perfect snow. It began snowing here yesterday afternoon (barely). It's snowing as I type this (also barely). We have no accumulation yet!! That pleases me to no end.

It's a perfect snow because it's down in your area not mine!

I've had enough of snow this year--STILL have more than a foot on the ground even though it hasn't snowed for 2 weeks, got down to -2 degrees last night.

Good news--it can only get warmer from here on.

IMHO, the perfect snow comes down as rain. I already had to shovel around six inches, and by the time I was done steps, truck, diveway( along with throwing most of it on the vacant patch across from me) daughter #1 started on the steps again. I'm just glad I have a tall dog or she would be losst in the yard

3 footers on the road and driveway

All we're having is 2-3 inches of rain and a flood or two.

Still snowing !! Had 12 " last night, level 3 emergency just got put into effect.
I left work early yesterday and spent 2 1/2 hrs. driving 36 miles home and just beat the major snow.
Just finished clearing the driveway, now I'll wait for the plows to fill it back in.
The perfect snow ,,,, I think that is any snow that's not in my area.

AHHH...., the wonders of living in the Great Lakes region. Lake effect snow and regular snow patterns has left use with over a foot of snow for the last month. No end in site, maybe by May.

No lake effect here in Canton but over a foot and still coming down. It hasn't been windy YET! When the wind picks up we will have some big drifts.

The only thing I have seen on the roads was one family. Mom and dad were on cross country skis and the kids had the german sheppard hooked up to sled! It looked like they were having fun and making the most out of the situation.

PS. The words "perfect" and "snow" can NOT be put in the same sentence!

I have about 14" of snow and increasing.... I've gotta go get the driveway again before it builds up more than 1" because then its a pain.

but my dog would love to pull me on a sled... shes 25 lbs and I'm 140.... but she can do it...

                            Grrrrrrr

The snow plow got stuck in front of my house. He must have seen me laughing cause on the next pass he dumped a 4 ft high pile at the end of my drive!

I just paid a private plow $40 to clean out the drive.

I could have bought a nice little something for the shop with that $40!!
