It's hard to make out what it is, is it a saw?

From reading another thread, maybe one of the last of the breed.

Don't let him get too comfortable playin' with that machine. BTW, congrats on the saw.

No doubt about it. He'll have as much fun with the box as you will with what's in it. Congrats on the purchase.

Yeah I'm pretty excited about it... but he was real excited about the new craftsman fort... still is actually. All evening he wanted to get the new "saw table" out of the truck... 30 minutes later and he had windows, a sky light, and a door lol!

Now I just have to figure out what project to start first...

Home Depot took the ryobi BTS21 back with no questions asked since I was returning it after only having it for 28 days. Then I was on a mission to Sears. I couldn't get them to give me the craftsman club price but the manager made a note on the receipt that next weekend when its on sale for $359 I can go in a get the price adjusted.

I havent done anything with it other than set it up and check the smt and fence for square, but just for the little bit of playing i've done with it, its amazing how much of a difference the $100 of the 2 saws there is.

                    Thanks to all
