        Mike,

I just checked out your site and items for sale - very cool

Before you "start advertising" you will need to think things through very clearly and make sure you know who you are selling to and the best way to reach them. Sound and well thought out marketing is the route to succesful businesses. This is what I do to earn enough so I can spend time making sawdust. I can tell you I have seen lots of money wasted on useless and ineffective advertising. When I say lots of money I mean bucket loads, enough for all the regulars to this site to furnish their shops with every fancy tool imaginable, pay for us all to get together in Maui once per year and have plenty left over for the LOOLs......

If you have already got some ideas I would be happy to help you with them just let me know. All advice is FOC if you want it. If you end up wanting anything tangible we may have to come to an arrangement. I can always work for tools

I'm not selling here, just trying to help a fellow WW'r. My website is www.jrdrmarketing.com

Good luck with your new website.

best way to sell stuff online....
Google checkout beats the pants off Paypal. It allows me to use a variety of methods to pay instead of just one. Plus, all the receipts are in the same place. I'm not sure what it costs the vendor, but as a consumer I would rather use it than PayPal in a heartbeat.

looking really professional now. one suggestion for the background it to make it repeat seamlessly, or have it stay centered on the screen while the site moves. but other than that it looks like a really good site.

I'd also try to get your site listed on google shopping. I'm not sure how thats done as I've never looked into it, but its probably similar to getting indexed by search engines.
