    History Channel

Noticed last night, and then again tonight the History Channel video and sound are off. The video is about 4 seconds (sorry, didn't get the stop watch out) ahead of the sound. Commercials and all. Is anyone noticing this??

I would think this is a History Channel problem, not our local cable company problem.

We have DirecTV. Although we haven't had problems like that, I read somewhere that if the sync is off, we should unplug our DirecTV receiver (not the TV) for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. That is supposed to take care of it. Don't know if that would apply in your case, or not.

Do you know about kickback? Ray has a good writeup here... https://www.sawdustzone.org/articles...mare-explained

Ed62: Got cable. It's on all the TV (no cable boxes).

Alex: Well it is the History Channel, and all those leap seconds did happen in the past....hmmmmm....

Guess I'll contact the cable company tomorrow (Friday) and report it. All the other channels seem to be OK.

It sure is hard to watch anything on it. Have watched shows were the sound is off a split second, not too bad if you don't watch the lips of people. It can be hard at times for me since I'm hearing impaired and I read lips out of habit. 4 Seconds off is really annoying, time you hear what they are talking about they are showing something else.

My History Channel is fine here, but then again, I'm on DirectTV here also.
