Another Use For a Shop Vac

Considering that I have three cats, one can imagine what the litter boxes look like if I miss a day cleaning.

As it's too cold to go into the garage an get a black contractor's bag, I tried to make do (doo) with a few of the white ones.

Well, I'm here to tell you, the usual plastic trash bags aren't worth spit.

Of course they broke spilling litter and all that good stuff all over the wood floor (not too bad), and on the carpeted stairs (Ugh).

There was no way I wanted to clean up this mess with the house vac, or with my hands. So I end up going out to the garage to get the shop vac.

This happened about an hour ago, and after using almost an entire can of room deodorizer and wet mopping the wood floors, the entire house still smells like a pet shelter.

    Boy, do I love Mondays.

We have three cats also. Here's what you do. Save up the plastic grocery bags (the small ones). Buy yourself (actually for the cats) some clumping cat litter, like Scoop Away, or Fresh Step, and one of these scoopers:
    .

    .
Scoop the boxes ( 3 cats = 3 boxes), and this is per floor if you have multi-level living quarters, daily into the plastic bags. If you wait, and try to put 100 LBS of that aeromatic mixture in a plastic bag, what will happen is what did. Capeesh?

You went to the garage to get the Shop Vac, but I thought it was too cold to go outside. Sorry had to say it.

So you're not one of those guys who needs the bloodhound to find the litter box?
