    A Canadian Poem

    Canadian Poem

    It's winter in Canada

    And the gentle breezes blow

    Seventy miles an hour

    At twenty-nine below.

    Oh, how I love Canada

When the snow's up to your butt

You take a breath of winter

And you nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful

So I guess I'll hang around

    I could never leave Canada

'Cause I'm frozen to the ground!!
From the "deep south" part of Canada

It would be even funnier if I didn't live next door.

        I have a Wisconsin haiku:

        It's cold, cold, cold, cold,
Cold, cold, cold, cold, cold, cold, cold,
        My bottom is numb.

Best I could do til I warm up.
        Jeff

Some people will complain about _anything_ to get a little sympathy.

          enjoyed it!

To "TheRic": Mum emailed to me the other night. I had to share it.

To Will: What do you mean the "warm" part. You have Queens Park near you. Must be lots of hot air warming the city. Beside's, don't forget that this time of the year we are making Ice Wine

Naw -- I am up near Lake Simcoe -- still in Southern Canada though. I have lived in Alberta, BC, Quebec, etc...

It is usually 2 to 6 deg. C. cooler here -- North of 49 is a little different tho.

Hopefully I will be back living in tortilla land before long.

O h yeah! Send some Ice Wine please -- the good stuff!

Nothing but 4X4's moving yesterday morning till the snowplows came. Hope you had it better there.
