I for one do not like the Pats, might be the fact that Brady went to Michigan and or the fact that Belichick coached my beloved Browns. Still trying to put my finger on it.


Is it just me or does anyone else think Belichick was very disrespectful for not staying on the field at the end of the game?

I'm with you Grant. I am from Akron, and even though I have always been a Steelers fan, I still had to endure Belichick's days in Cleveland. He had zero personality then and still has none. He might be a great coach, but he sure comes across like a jerk. Did you see his postgame interview? They could barely get him to answer a few simple questions.

As for the end of the game, yes, that was really poor sportsmanship. The officials clearly told him that the game was not over, yet he left the field before the final whistle. To me it's like a baseball player not running through first base on a flyout. Even when the ball is caught before the player reaches the base, it is their responsibility to run out the play. If they don't, they are criticized by the media and fans as being quitters. It's just how the game is played. If you win, celebrate with dignity, if you lose, praise the victor as the better team. Unlike many former coaches and players, I don't think Bill will be working as a commentator after his coaching career is over.

I'm in Indy, so the only thing better than an Indy repeat, was little brother Manning winning one. And Indy HATES the Pats, so any loss by them is great. With the personality of the coach and lack of sportsmanship, I don't know how anybody can like the Pats. (But, I might be biased. )
