    The "green" snow plow

You can't blame this guy for global warming. I doubt he lives in Buffalo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VozlU8TXEvA

As long as there isn't more than 4" on the driveway it's OK. Deeper is going to be an issue, I would think.

Im thinking a couple of teenage boys is almost as green. THey are all natural and organic and will eat almost anything for fuel.

        Those were my exact thoughts.

Now if you could just get them motivated, that'd be a plan.

Maybe he should be sent to a town along the Coquihalla Hwy in British Columbia. There he can test it in 90 Meters (or more) of snow a year...

After a little introspection I have to give the guy some credit for enginuity. I can't say that I care for the plastic 'plows' which detracts from the recycled/ green theme, a wee bit. Now, as for the teenage boys, I don't think that a pack of bottle rockets under the butt would motivate one to get off his duff. At least, that's my observation of the teens at church. The 'sloth' look seems to be in vogue between 14 and 17 and then they begin to emerge as human beings in their own right. There are some exceptions, of course, and we do seem to get them to do things against their will until they find themselves accidentally having fun - but denying it afterwards.

Humorous. A frame for collecting rust, LOL

How about a machine that emits no emissions, LOL, I know a few people who would disagree with that.

I wonder if a "human machine" is really more efficient, from a pure conversion of fuel into useful motion point of view.

Which uses more energy? A guy peddling a snow plow, or a snow blower with a gas engine. Perhaps add a third, which would be an electric snow blower (which I can only assume is more efficient than a gas engine).

Has anyone read or heard of any (reputable) studies in this area?
