Watching the Globetrotters vs the Generals on TV now. Haven't seen them play in many many years but it sure brings back memories. I'm glad they're back on TV.

I saw them several times in my youth. Who could ever forget Meadowlark lemon???

I still remember seeing them back in the mid-50's. I have always enjoyed them.

Or Curly Neal, or Geese Ausbie, or Marques Haynes. I remember going to see them in my teens, and Satchel Paige was there, and signed a baseball for me. Those are all great memories. IIRC, the 'Trotters once had a center that was like 8'3" tall!

I saw a short clip of them a few days ago on TV. It looks like they're still a great entertainment. Remember the size of Goose Tatum's hands?
