That is definitely gonna leave a mark... A shame, too, because they don't appear to be his size...

It has never happened to me but I know a few drivers that have had that happen to them. The most recent was down near portland, or. where a friend of mine lost one single tire. The guy that was behind him said it bounced over the trailer. His trailer was 14' high. His speed was about 55 mph. Lukily it was nighttime and little traffic so no one was injured!

Wow! I bet that did hurt and he is lucky the gas didn't spray all over him. That reminds me of a friend that was riding his motorcycle down the interstate and a truck in front of him lost a recap. It happened so fast and it came right at him and he couldn't miss it and he almost lost control with traffic all around him. After that he stayed off the interstate.

I loved the reaction of the clerk — turn off the pump, then go around the other side and hang up the nozzle but don't check on the guy on the ground. Great customer service there.

I remember watching the left wheelel of a school bus I was riding pass the bus, cross our lane and go bounding over a fence after it was launched upward when it hit the ditch. I was amazed by how fast and how far that wheel went. One of a few good stories from riding a bus to school for 12 years.

We were visiting friends who lived alongside a highway when a truck tossed a set of duals. Hit the frame of their picture window. Sounded like it was duck and cover time.
