    InLine Industries - What a joke !

Man, these guys are unbelievable !

I made an order for the pulleys and a link belt as well as the PALS used to align a contractor's saw. I immediately got an email from them that they had the pulleys but not the belt. I said great, I can get the belt locally, don't worry about it -- just ship the rest. No response. I email them a week later asking when my order will ship and they write back and say they'll ship as soon as they can. Two more weeks go by and nothing. I email them to ask about the status of my order. They write back to say they don't have the BELT but they do have the pulleys ! I wrote them back and said I had already answered that question, ship what you have, blah blah blah. They say sorry for the confusion, we'll do that. ANOTHER two weeks go by and nothing. You guys told me of another site to buy the PALS so I wrote InLine and said cancel my order. Get this -- they wrote back today to say they had the pulleys but not the belt !

I have really never seen anything like it. What a joke of a company. Thanks for listening to me vent. Very frustrating.

Thanks for the warning, Steve. How some of these companies stay in business is beyond me.

The initial email I got right after the order was placed said they would ship within a couple of days. That was 6 weeks ago. It really is amazing.

Thanks for letting us know about that. Now we know where not to buy.

I'd call 'em up and tell them that they must clear this up to your satisfaction right now, or you will hang up and call your lawyer about the credit card charge.

Call up your credit card company and tell them that you cancelled the order for the items and that you are disputing the charge. From there the card company will bat for you and they won't make you pay it while it is being disputed.
If you can read this you assembled wrong.

I've had a successful dealing with them, but yours is not the first complaint I've read recently. Too bad.... I met Jerry Coles (I think that's the owner's name) at a WWing Show...seemed like a nice guy.

i hear what you are saying. it is truely amazing to see what type of business operations are out there, big or small.

just call the cc people and dispute the charge and you should be fine. ofcourse, you have to tell them that you cancelled your order and why.

dont take more headache from them. order when you get to your new house from a different place.

Will just a phone call work? The only time I had a dispute, the CC company insisted on snail-mail.

Probably because they are out of pulleys now, but your belts are in and we can ship it in about 6 weeks.

A phone call should do it. If they give you a hard time too, I'd be looking for a new CC company along with a wwing supplier!

That sounds a little like Sears. I ordered a tool box online and picked it up at the store Jan. 12th. I have since had 3 phone calls telling me my order is ready for pick up and then a couple of days ago they called and said if I didn't pick it up by Feb 3rd they were going to cancel the order.

Did your pre-pay? You could go in and pick up another one.
