    Winter fun, once again

It's 12 degrees right now (feels like 2, with wind chill) and forecast is for 3-4 inches of snow.

I like winter, but ENOUGH ALREADY!

I'm scanning job postings in FL, TX, Southern CA...

We've got a new wing at the local medical center!

Be aware, though, that winter has hit here, too. It has rained in each of the last four days. The horror!

Not as bad here. It's 19 degrees, feels like 8. We also have snow called for tonight (soon), with warming temps. When I got up this morning it was 7 below. One of my sons had frozen water pipes this morning.

I'll tell ya what I had to do today. It was about 72 deg and sunny, so I cut the grass wearing a "T" shirt and shorts. Man did I work up a sweat. When I got done, I made up a big mug of OJ and sat under our large Avocado tree to get out of the sun. It was terrible.

low of 3°F, currently 20°F possible high of 29°F. Has not got up to the melt point in at any time in this week. BRRRR I'm ready for some weather to warm things up! There should be a stagnant air advisory due to a temperature inversion but there as of yet has not been one. It could be worse; some years we have fog for a month at a time in winter.

They are forecasting a major winter storm for next weekend here. Next weekend happens to be the Kansas City Woodworking Show. I hope it gives me a chance to get there and back. It is about a 2 hour + trip for me.

We have had lows in the teens and single digits here lately, but it is supposed to get into the 50's this weekend.

We had a balmy -22 Canadian. That's around 7 for you fella's in the south. In fact I was thinking about grabbing a brown pop and setting up a lawn chair while BBQing dinner

It's been a frigid 45 to 55° here all week, the worst problem is that its been raining 2-3" a day for a week and will continue on until next week.

Been hanging in the low 40's, dropping to the low 30's at night, and rainy here all week. Forcast is high 60's tomorrow and climbing to the mid 70's before the next COLD FRONThits Tuesday or Wednesday and drops us back to the 60's!

Low of 1.9 here in todays A.M. acording to the local Int. Airports weather station. Currently 17.1. Snow forcast for this weekend. Still have the last 1.5 inches on my driveway. I did however shovel the 105 feet of sidewalk and a path to the mail box for the post person.

If I could avoid shoveling snow or using a snowblower to move it around and I could avoid driving in it during rush hour and if the pot holes didn't threaten to eat my car I would just absolutely love winter in Michigan.

I'll bring over a few steaks -- you're not that far from Pefferlaw.

Forecast says 40 above on Monday, and a 30 below wind chill Tuesday night. 70 degree difference in less then 2 days... That just ain't right!

It was down to about -8 last night, but has since warmed up to about 8 above. No wind! We are expecting about an inch or two of snow.

Brrrrrrr! I think I was warm some time in October, or maybe it was in September.

I had to clear the driveway three times last week and it was windy on two of the three days. Gotta get to the store and get more Bailey's - - fights frost bite and "snow shovel elbow" when added to coffee.

                              Regards, Steve
