Really cool sawmill. Didn't see no Shark Guard, or dust masks either. Seems like the weight of the cut piece would bear on the blade, in lieu of wedges.

Cool! I want one! I couldn't tell how the blade is fed through. Looks like it might be gravity? Or does he just pull it?David

Just to clarify things. Bandsaw mills like this one do not need wedges, the weight of the sawn piece does not interfere with the blades movement. This one is "hand" powered, that is to pull it along the track. You can buy powered ones but at a bigger price. I've used and helped on both kinds. Great piece of gear if you have access to timber, you can make a lot of lumber at a small per piece price. Plus you can saw just about any dimension you want; 6x6? sure why not or whatever! The spray bottle was just to help lubricate the blade; thats where it get expensive. $40 and up depending on length. Simple machine really, a motor to drive two wheels and a runner system to go down the log.RuffSawn

I'd rather push that thing than pull it towards me... Come to think of it which way do the Woodmizers and the Timberkings cut - towards or away from the operatr?Guy Cox
