Thanks to all the people who post answers here

I find I don't often have to actually post a question, just use the search feature and look through the other posts to find an answer.

Todays adventure was to learn to use my HF dovetail jig. A lot of trial and error and almost there but never quite got it. So I came in and entered HF dovetail setup into the search box and read for a while. Went back out with a printed page from someones instructions (wish I could remember who) and dialed it right in.

I still have some things to work on but those are technique and not setup. My thanks to all the BT folks who educate me on a daily basis. Have a happy, safe and dusty new year.

We're all here to help and learn from each other. That's why this is such a great place to hang out.

I agree, often I find an answer to a question that I didn't know I needed to ask until the answer was there. Then the light comes on.

Whether newbie or veteran, we can all learn from AND teach each other. It's that attitude and mutal respect, that makes the group here the best on the web.

Amen to that. I would probably have fewer fingers (but more dollars) if it were not for the great folks on this site!!

All these posts seem that point to another pat on the back for the way that Sam set the rules for the forum to start with. Not to mention that the members do an excellent job in self control.

Sometimes it takes a Newbie to try a different approach and find a solution because he didn't know it wouldn't work! Us Oldtimers sometimes get stuck in a certain mindset and can't always see another path.
