    Favorite 2007 BT3Central Moment?

Since we spend so much time on here, and we all get so much out of the site, what is your favorite 2007 BT3Central item/moment/thread...

It could be a Bargain Alert you took advantage of, a purchase or sale through the Member Classifieds, a new tip learned or shared or a "Community Moment" that you witnessed or were part of.

Sam's new car was probably the highlight for me. I did not participate, but I applaud those who did. I will mention it here since they will not take credit for themselves.

What is your favorite 2007 BT3C moment?

I get a lot of nice "sharing" moments here...daughter's hope chest, our 25th anniversary, etc., but I'd have to say helping out Sam tops the list.

Bargain frenzies are always fun, but it's a different kind of "moment".

Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

                  1. Anything that shows people doing good deeds for others, and there have been more than a few of those threads on here.

                  2. C-man's thread (roughly a year ago) about his feeling guilty because he questioned whether he did the right thing pertaining to a job. This made me feel that he's a man with morals, and someone to do business with.

                  3. Threads that show extreme happiness because of overcoming a problem (medical procedures, etc.) or because they received something other than monetary value, or gave something to someone who needed it.

No it was Sam's announcement of his purchase of a replacement vehicle that many of our forum's members contributed.

I'm touched that two members would mention my cancer story as a favorite moment. But I guess their doing so must be a case of "Time flies when you're having fun on BT3Central!" because I actually made that announcement way back in September 2005, upon reaching my two-year milestone. It's now nearly 4-1/2 years since my doctors pronounced me cancer-free.

My favorite forum moment for 2007 would also have to be the BT3Mobile. That was a glittering example of what makes this little corner of the Internet as special as we all know it is.
