FOUND ONE!!!
Or, to be exact, found six.
It's a sociological quirk that when you want to find out just-discontinued Ryobi tools, it's a good idea 'round here to look in stores where there are fewer yuppies like, for example, Pico Rivera near NE Central Los Angeles.
Not that you're all yuppies, but that's just how it works out. When the five-piece 18-volt battery kit with chop saw, saber saw, light, drill and speed saw in a huge plastic case (my first Ryobi woodworking tools) was unavailable at the Signal Hill HD in the middle of Long Beach, CA, they had 21 of them in the store near the junction of the Harbor and San Diego Fwys. For $200 per!
($400 when it first sold)
Funny, I think. And profitable, in this case. The BE321VS is on sale for only $79, ($99 when I bought it) where the lighter and, I think, inferior 18" model costs $49 last I looked.
