    Xmas lunch in Oz

I'll be thinking about you guys on Xmas day -

I'll be standing at the Barbie - sunglasses, shorts, t-shirt, NCIS cap on, beer in hand, watching the steak, shrimp and lobster cooking

Temp is predicted to be around 80°F - just a typical Oz Xmas day

Nice, Rod! I'm envious. My friend will be grilling salmon on Christmas, but we won't be walking around in our flip-flops!

    Merry Christmas to Oz!

I won't be too far from your neck of the woods on Christmas day. We're heading out Saturday for Christchurch for an Antarctic meeting.

I'll have the shorts and flip-flops too, but doing jerk scallops and chicken, tangerine shrimp, and marinated skirt steaks. And a luscious case of Beck's Dark awaits as well...

I dunno Rod, Christmas is supposd to be cold. I guess if you grew up with it warm it wouldn't seem that strange.

That's right, Rod. If you want to switch places so you don't miss out, let me know.

You can have my share of the cold, David. I'll take floating lazily down a river with a cold one in one hand and a rod and reel in the other, hoping the fish don't disturb your snooze. For me, way better than freezing my... er... chestnuts...

I know I'm crazy but I want it to be cold and snowing. Nothing like Getting woken up at 6:00, coffee in hand, lit up tree, Christmas music in the background and roaring fire in the fireplace. Being born and raised in the Midwest, I don't think I could handle a warm/hot Christmas. I would feel robbed!!!

Forecast here is 63 and partly cloudy. I might even pull some shop time after the kids go home!

That sounds nice. According to the weatherman we may get the gift of rain on Christmas day.
