I bought a pair of SR80s for work a few years back. I was doing a bunch of audio editing. I was very pleased with them and may buy myself another pair.

I thought they were very comfortable. People sometimes say they get uncomfortable after a few hours of listening. Even while working I can't imagine keeping any set of cans on my ears for more than an hour or so before getting a cup of coffee or something, so it was never an issue. Also, the foam doesn't make your ears feel sweaty like the fake leather types.

I haven't tried them all, but I THINK the 80s are probably the sweet spot unless you have better ears than me. After that, the price/improvement curve becomes much steeper.

If the SR80s are 25% off of $95, that is a very good and rare deal. Grado doesn't tolerate many sales.
