Did I do Okay on this deal?

I am off all week so this past Monday while having lunch, I was searching around on ebay and I ended up bidding on a brand new Makita BHP451 18V 1/2" LXT Lithium-Ion Hammer Drill/Driver, Battery, Charger & Bag. Now I am having buyers remorse and thinking of a way to explain the purchase to my wife

If this is indeed a good deal, then consider this post a gloat as well.

Ace Hardware sells it for between $260 - $310. If you paid what appears to be $110+shipping, then yes, deal.

You should be arrested for theft. A great drill and a good deal. You'll love it. Oh, let your wife think she talked you into it.

Tell your wife you needed it to polish the diamond you are buying here for Christmas.

You could always make the purchase with the intent of reselling it at a profit because it was such a steal, and just "change your mind"....

Oh, and btw, this is an excellent tool, and is consistently my go-to tool instead of the corded drill. No need for remorse, go do a happy dance!

That sounds like one of my excuses.
