When I bought my car, it had holes on both bumpers, and the windshield was cracked . (The driver actually told me that he was really unfortunate - he always found the garbage dump in the wrong place, where it shouldn't be when he was turning / parking ). I did get it for a hugely discounted price .

So when I took it for inspection (this in NJ), I didn't want a hassle : I got the windshield changed, but the cost of replacing the bumpers stopped me short till I had a brainwave : I stuck two large Scooby Doo and Sponge Bob stickers strategically to hide the holes. I still have the car, and the very same stickers .

      held together with stickum

My old, big, slow van has a John Kerry sticker and a Home Depot Is My Toy Store sticker keeping the back bumper together, and a college alumni sticker in the rear window.

This thread reminds my of a former neighbor who had a large Dead Head skull and lightning bolt decal on her car. When I asked about it, she told me it had come with the car when she bought it used, and she didn't know what it was, and never bothered to remove it. Guess it was a long strange trip...

i have none on mine. i cant stand a sticker on cars. but every now and then, for some reason, stickers look ok on some car (maybe because they are old, not clean ....?).

Normally I don't have one, but I occasionally make exceptions.

Had this on my vehicle I just traded in... guess I need to get a new one

Somehow it goes over better here on the east side of the state than over on the coast (Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia, etc.)

I have a small bumper sticker containing the logo of the dealership where I bought my '07 Honda Pilot SUV and I left it on there because it allows me to get a free car wash every time I go to any of their affiliate dealership. Saves me from having to pay for car wash so I kept it on the vehicle.

I used to have that one!!!!! I also had "Club a Seal for Christ." Right now my non-political bumper stickers read: "America is returning to the values Scouting never left." and "Theatre Education: It's for Life."

Once I saw a bumper sticker that said, "In Space, No One Can Hear You Fart."

No bumper stickers on my car, or my wife's car either. I have a window decal to put in (haven't gotten to it for the last month since I bought it) of a running greyhound. It'll go in the back side window (station wagon) where it won't block my view. Over time, I might get more to show my support of greyhound adoption.

No my sister, her bumper is plaster with them. Looks tacky to me... Best one: "Drive defensively, buy a tank"

None yet. I have one waiting to be put on each of our vehicles. Both relating to stopping overpopulation.

                  "Make Love Not More"
"Small families will save the world"

I am still waiting to put the one on my wifes until I get her the stick figure family window decal (Mom, Dad and six kids) for the rear window of her suburban.
