One of My All Time Favorite Web Sites...

    http://www.sentex.ca/~mwandel/

Home of the Jenga Pistol,ABS Cannons, the Wasp Sucking Machine, Marble Machines, and some pretty good woodworking, too.

I came across this site via Woodnet a couple years ago, but I don't remember if he's a member there or not, but his site is fun to look at. He's like a 12-year old kid with knowledge and power tools--and apparently a lot of time, which separates the rest of us 12-year olds with knowledge and power tools from him...

Very cool idea on the leather dancing shoes. At least in swing you don't want/need the leather on the soles cause properly done you do the dancing on the balls of your feet.

Ideally, you could practice swing dancing right in the shop while doing woodwork. Just arrange tools and benches in a "U" shape and you stand in the middle and "swing" from one to the other, left to right, right to left, on the balls of your feet. It would help to play music while doing this.

Well... once you get the basic rythm dance practice is much more effective (and fun) with a partner of the opposite female persuasion.
