Yes officer, what seems to be the problem?

I snapped this image with my cell phone at lunch today. You can see the front-end of the cop car that had this guy pulled over. The officer was standing just out of the frame snapping a picture with his digital camera...

Yes, but 13' 5" is the overpass height limit. You're a pallet and a half over height.

Sam, looks like you should have looked for a Blazer.

Aw, he coulda gotten a couple more pallets on there - the front wheels are still on the ground.

The poor guy has probably been up at the still bottling liquor all summer long. Just as he's getting ready for his big shipment, this cop steps in to rain on his parade!

Yeah, but look what it did to the building!

It does look a little different when you level out the building.

No wonder the officer parked so far behind him.

I've seen guys fill up the bed with sand and gravel with the rear bumper inches from the ground. And these are tiny trucks. I wish I could have taken some pics of it. That's what you call low-ridin'.

I saw some "person" with a small pickup, a toyota I believe with a 4X8 foot trailer behind him, with 3' sides, filled to the brim, and mounded up with gravel. The fella sure could get the thing moving, but stopping, that's another story, he left skid marks all the way through the intersection he tried to stop at, and it's a 6 lane X 6 lane intersection... Lots of smoke, and probably more that a little poop in the cab of the truck

At least it was tied down...

Another funny thing to see...I work at a 7-11 and work the night shift where I see all kinds of things and deal with all kinds of drunk people. Well one night our local taxi pulls in which they have a Dodge Van as one of their taxi's and the back bumper of that thing was almost on the ground and then I had to laugh when three large men (drunk by the way) got out of the cab the bumper raised up where it should have been and when they all climbed back in it went back down..

Yes officer, what seems to be the problem?

I once saw a guy with a regular 1/2 ton Chevy rolling down the road with what must have been a 4 foot cube of concrete in the back.

If he hit a big pothole I could see sparks coming off the bumper as it scraped on the road. I floored it and got aroung him, before the back axel had time to a part company with the rest of the truck.

I also love the people who tie a matress on top of their car wiht two bits of string. I saw one guy, and the wind was under the matress, and it was like a kite. Not one piece of that matress was touching the top of the vehicle.

Wonder if either of these two genius's got home with the goods.

Is that an SUV carrying a pile of pallets, or a pile of pallets with an SUV hanging underneath?

At least the load is lighter now than it was when he still had sod on the pallets...

Just a cheap wood worker heading home with the lumber(oak?) to build his LOML's new kitchen cabinets. He spent the kitchen budget on a new Powermatic.

Now, this is the way you should really carry wood<g>! Works ok except when you need to pass something...

Nice pieces of wood in there, better than the stuff stacked neatly on the SUV
