Ever since Nahm turned that bat just before they played the Cardinals, the world has just plain been off a little bit.

Oh, well....As long as the Cubs don't win the Series in my lifetime.

After game one I thought it might be a done deal. Game 2 added to those thoughts. Game 3 I only caught part of on a rather poor am radio signal, but that also added to my thoughts of Boston sweeping. Last night I only was able to watch the last 2.5 innings. Good series! I wondered if the Rockies were going to get something started with the 2 run HR but it just was not to be.

As an aside I learned this morning that the winning pitcher went to high school at the private school that my Uncle Jim has worked at for over 2 decades.

Boston has a real tough team. A-Rod apparently won't be going back to the Yankees next year, and Boston has the money to sign him. If they wind up with him at 3rd, they'll be real tough to beat for the next few years.
