    Problem with Picasa

I have several albums and folders being used in Picasa. I've been busy scanning a bunch of old slides, and restoring them. I sent my wife some of the resulting files. They all appear OK in Picasa, except one. It appears to be about 80% blue, while it is really a typical Christmas photo. I first thought the file became corrupted sending it through e-mail. I re-sent it, but the problem remains. I can go to the file in Windows explorer, and everything is normal. If I open it in another program, it displays correctly. Any idea what's going on? It's nothing important, I'm just curious.

If you double click on the thumbnail, Your picture shows big, and you get a selection on the left that's titled "Basic Fixes", "Tuning", and "Effects". Between the variables in the three of those to your picture, finish with a "Save As", and you should be able to make the changes you want.

Thanks for the reply. But it appears so far out of being correct, there's no way it can be fixed like that. The funny thing is that it appears correctly in other viewers.

        things I would try

If you right click - can you "undo all edit's on the picture - maybe one was done by mistake.

Move the picture to someplace else on the drive and let picasa re-import it

delete the picas.ini file from the folder where the picture is. I think there is one in the folder that picasa puts in there
