    And how was your weekend.

Ours can be summed up in one picture.

Our camper was on the bank just out of picture range on the left.

But I have to add another picture just to show off the neighbors.

That's my 8-1/2 DD on the right.

I just love these Bigfoot sightings. Quite a view you got there. Me, just the same view of the neighborhood. Moved a mailbox on Saturday. Had to chip through about 16" of road bed to get to the soil, to sink the post. Today, had to replace lower section of door jamb on a rear outside door, fitting in PT 2 bi's. Not a fun weekend. Manwork is never done.

Well I had to work all weekend, 10 at night to 3 in the morning both saturday and sunday so that I could come home and get Mark up by 4 so that he could go hunting this weekend.

My MIL stopped by on Saturday afternoon for a quick visit, which was nice to see her. And on Sunday I just hung around the house as I work again tonight.

Hey Stan did you see the monster that left those prints? Looks like he would make a very nice rug.

Not a bigfoot at all, just the front and rear prints of a Grizzly where they overlapped.

Yeah, work around the house kind of stacks up here during hunting season. Got all winter to take care of it though.

Agree on the rug Melissa. But he was long gone by the time I found the tracks. At least 2 days old based on the last rain in the area.

Man that is just stunning. Waking up to that would certainly be a great start!

Oh, you've got that right. Niiiice.

I was commenting to LOML tonight how much I got done this weekend. It doesn't compare that one pic, though, Stan. Beautiful!

I would be jealous had I not spent most of the weekend in the great outdoors, too! Auction Saturday and all day Sunday on the roof laying sheet metal.

Looks like you had a better weekend than I did, and mine wasn't bad, for the most part.

Saturday morning was training classes for the hounds, and a stop by the kennel where we adopted them They have a good time, it's a good class.

I spent part of the afternoon and evening painting the outside of the old garage/future shop. The old paint was in terrible shape, and the side that I had to do was the worst. Primer and first coat are done.

Sunday morning I was taking some photos to try to enter a contest on a photograhpy forum. I missed the deadline, but got some decent shots. Then, a drive to Baltimore to visit LOML's college friend that just moved there. Not a bad weekend, but I'd rather be where Stan was (and I think I could have found something better for the contest there too....)

                      Good one here.

Finally got the pool down and in the shed.

Got the jointer all set up and ran some 2x lumber through it. Gonna make a kneewall out of it but wanted the practice.

Made a fence extension for my mitre fence that includes a stop and support for longer stock.

But my best day was Sunday - just being Daddy.

I saw a bunch of country but not one single deer! Got a grey phase ruffed grouse on Saturday. Saw 3 blues yesterday. Finally yesterday late afternoon I saw some elk, 2 spikes total, and it's deer season, full two weeks until elk season. Bet then I'll be seeing plenty of deer.

With every picture you post Stan Montana just keeps looking better but the boar that left that track would not be a welcome sight.

Know all too well how that goes Mark. Saw all kinds of mule deer does through archery season -- only thing that was not baggable. Rifle season starts here this coming weekend, will see how things go for that.

Kinda depends on the distance it is being viewed at.
