    Lead Paint and Toy Recall

Have a bad cold so have been spending couch time today and reading my Woodworik Mags. My mind started to drift and I started thinking of our woodworking toys. Do you think the Gov will recall our toys because of the lead in the paint. If I was feeling better I would go out and buy a lead paint test kit. I am sure that my HF bandsaw and Grizzly jointer and my Rigid planer all have lead based paint If they were built in Asia they probably do. I am not worried, I may carress my jointer but don't kiss it or chew on it. Now childerens toys is a whole different ballgame as I fell the Matel or any of the other toy compainies should be held responsible for the quality and safety of the materials in their products.

Saw today were some Idiot Congressmen was worried about infectious deseases at NASCAR events and had his people inoculated for them before going to check out 1st responders at these events. evidently Baseball, Football and Basketball are ok. go figure. Time for more meds.
