Seems like a whole lot of tools for $125. Plus the background looks like what a professional photographer would use. I'm almost tempted to email him but it's I'm thinking it's probably a scam or it's stolen?

I agree on the background, but I see some ugly shadows, so I don't think it's a professional shot. I wonder... how do you know if anything you buy used is not stolen? I never even thought of that before...

If it's "new in the box", particularly if there's some cockamamie story attached, I usually ask to see a receipt. I tell them it's so I can get the warranty. On used equipment, there's not much you can do, except don't buy anything from a nervous dude in a van.

I think it's legit. A couple years back I bought the saw/hammer drill/light combo for under $200. new. I sold mine recently. BTY - this looks to me the model that has a lifetime warranty (don't know if it transfers?).

I think these ads are spoof. If a guy buys a tool and doesn't want the better half to find out what's the few things you would do?

1) remove it from the box and destroy the evidence

2) put the tools away and mix them with the old so they aren't noticeable

That background could be that "pink" paper that is sometimes used during construction/new homes to cover a finished hardwood foor .... IAC it's not lt very well so I doubt it's studio shot.
