We Need Rain

Desperately. And I have a plan.

First, all the BT3 Members in the SE need to go outside and wash their cars. All the cars you own. Wax em too. Get them as shiny as you can. Heck, wash and wax your mower while you are at it. While you are doing that plan as as many picnics/outdoor type activities as you can cram into the weekend. After that go get a few large, active dogs and some brand new flooring. Better yet, some brand new carpeting. White. With as deep a pile as you can find.

Oh and tell your friends to do this too.

If all that doesn't work then nothing will.

We could do with one evening of guaranteed sun. Funny though, the weather's become great otherwise (as in, air is fresh and cool, the sticky-gummy heat is gone).

We need the rain up in NJ too. But not this weekend, please. This weekend is the "Greyhounds Reach the Beach" event in Dewey Beach, DE and I plan to go on Saturday with the hounds. Would not be as nice in the rain. But, it can rain anytime the next couple of days, or anytime next week.

You guys in southern Florida don't count. Anything in Florida from Orlando to the Keys isn't 'The South'. There are too many snowbirds/transplanted Yankees there.

Got a lot of em here, but we haven't taught em the secret handshake yet... Us old crackers ain't ready to jump ship just yet, although I probably will get a call one of these days to grab the flag and save myself.

I poured a small pad yesterday. It almost worked. We got about 3 drops right after I finished pouring. Didn't even have to cover it. We could use some
rain too. They're calling for some later tonight, but they're probably wrong again.
