Wooohoooo, I am finally getting my new shop

But I have to buy the house that it is attached to. My long time girl friend and I decided that after all of this time we should combine our assets and look for a house. After an offer last night and a counter offer today we agreed on a price with final sale is to be decided after the home inspection within the next 10 days. So, I am keeping my fingers crossed that we find nothing in the inspection that cannot be worked out with the seller.

The garage is a 2 car, double door set up and is 20X20. My girl friend has already told me that she has been scraping her windows in the winter for going on 20 years and she doesn't expect to change that now, so the garage is ALL MINE.

Lucky Dog!!!! She is a keeper!!

As for the new shop things to keep in mind:
Is the garage attached OR how far do I have to walk in the snow.
Is the garage insulated OR will it cost be $200 a month to heat.
Does the garage have enough electric (total) to handle everything, does it have enough outlets.
Does the main panel box have enough space for future upgrades?
Are the receptacles in the garage newer three prong outlets or the old 2 prong.

Oh yea, you might want to check out the rest of the house. For backup storage of wood, projects and jigs.
