I may have to re-title this to "can you top this?"

The man was one of the greats. I still have a tape of one of his performances from the 70s. The greats in all fields of entertainment are dying off, leaving us with Ms. Spears, Ms. Hilton, and others.

I will date myself. I remember seeing him and the ED Sullivan show in the 50"s along with Senior Winches (Spelling) and yes Elvis. Who can forget Victor Borge.

The Ed Sullivan Show, WOW. I sure remember, or the Andy Williams Show. The Perry Como Show, The Red Skelton Show, etc , etc , etc.
Great family Shows. How come we don't have those variety shows anymore. Now we are inundated with reality and game shows and CSI everycity. Lots of sex, blood and gore and infidelity. They say that's what people want these days. Too bad.

Seriously, he was one of the great performers of our times. His passing leaves a huge void in the entertainment world.
