OK, I have been laughing over this for at least the last 15 minutes and I can finally bring myself to type. Britney Exploited! Who could believe it? I mean, those dastardly, mustache twirling, Baron Silace Greenback-esque executives over at MTV actually FORCED an obviously under prepared Britney Spears (at gunpoint, I'm sure) to perform at an event. I mean, here is a WORLD CLASS performer, that should NEVER be exposed to the public at less than her operatic best.

Who would want anyone to get confused and think that someone of her stature may actually be devoid of talent. How could they let that happen?

I watch a rerun of the performance. No I am an of F**t and am not into the modern music scene but she looked bad. These you women will not last long on their looks. I have heard rumors through LOML and all her web sites that Brittney might loose her kids.

They set a really bad example and for that reason, I don't like a lot of today's "stars". Some of my favorite entertainers have the most boring personal lives imaginable, like Paul Newman, Julia Louis Dreyfus, Meryl Streep and Parminder Nagra. Fine actors and the kinds of people you'd be really pleased to have as neighbors.

Britney is a train wreck... Now her whole publicity machine has swung into spin mode to try and salvage her career (not to mention their own jobs), and the best they can come up with is "she broke a shoe" and "she had an allergic reaction". Puhleeeeze... She has chosen this road for herself, and she deserves to have to ride it out. I do not feel sorry for her white trash a$$ in the least.

And then there's Sarah Silverman... Now there's a lady...

I am kinda amazed her management team let her onstage like that. She needs a month in a bootcamp and half a year of practice before doing any performing.

I gotta say I admire Jennifer Lopez. Now there's someone with a head. She had her fun, she had her bloopers (like that Gigli movie), but she managed to keep her star status which now gives her a huge leverage in raking cash as a fashion icon.

Maybe Britney should just throw in the hat, clean up, find a good financial advisor, get her money invested properly, maybe try to get her kids back and concentrate on getting them a top-tier education. Now that her name is more associated with scandal and drug abuse than with smokin hotness, she should not bank on getting endorsement offers.

BTW, she doesn't look half bad, at my age anyway, but it takes a lot of cajones to wear an outfit like that. As far as talent, well, my cats have more talent than she has. And they clean up after themselves. She obviously is missing the gene that governs taste in things like men and clothing.

Well I'll agree she doesn't look half bad, not as good as she once did but still not half bad. However, unless the girls from Calif. are way different than the girls from around here I'm questioning the cajones comment

Maybe she should try and get an endorsement from an underwear company. It seems that she doesn't have any so maybe that would be a good one to do. I know that I saw something about an underwear company who was wanting her as a spokes person, but that would only work if she ACTUALLY WORE UNDERWEAR.

What do you mean-sunk? Ability to discuss - no matter the subject - is a mark of intellect. If Spears was all we could have a conversation about - that would be a bad sign. The fact that we can talk about laws of physics, politics, woodworking, social issues - AND Britney Spears - shows us as many-sided, open-minded individuals, and and some stuck up, self righteous haut snobs.
