It doesn't hurt to take a hard look at yourself from time to time, and
this should help get you started.

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the
criterion was which defined whether or not a patient should be
institutionalized.

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a
teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty
the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the
bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."

"No." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want
a bed near the window?"

Well, 'pull the plug' does come to mind, but if the condition is 'as fast as possible', pulling the plug and then going at it with a bucket is the way to go...

What does it mean if you use the teaspoon to ply the plug open?

Or, you brew a pot of tea, and settle down with a teacup, knowing that water will eventually evaporate.

Is this a trick question? I hate trick questions. The last time someone asked me a trick question they certainly regretted it. I am starting to think all questions are trick questions. In fact I know they are and everyone is out to ask me trick questions.

Whoops, forgot to take those pills again, better sign off before they come and put me back in one of those "I love Me" jackets.

PS: I picked the spoon because I am retired and who cares how long it takes to empty the bath tub anyway. Reminds me that the wife asked me to empty the swimming pool, where the heck did I put that spoon?

My grandmother asked me a trick question once... once...
