Too, Too Funny. The Deal of the Year

I just couldn't believe this when I saw it. Didn't seem to qualify for a "Bargain Alert", but................just too good!

If he can't spell, how do you expect him to fix leaking tire?

What gets me: the combination of "like new condition" and "slow leak".

Well, that plus the spelling; the complete lack of measurements or other info about what it came off or might be used for; the omission of a price (like some rare antique car); and the 'pickup only' part, although that's probably advisable for the buyer anyway--who'd want this character casing the house when he delivered it?

Probably took more time to set up that ad than it would to fix the leak...

The ad is very confusing. It first says it's for a wheel barrow, then it says pickup only. Not even what kind of pickup. Furthermore, no valve stem cap...maybe that's the culprit.

"like new condition" and "slow leak".

With that, he didn't have to add that he "Got it at the BORG".

I was surprised to discover how creative the product designers for wheel barrow tires have gotten:

I think the next Craigslist enhancement should be automated spell-check!

Wouldn't have helped. Barrel is spelled correctly. This guy needs a wrong-word check.

Perhaps our assumption is wrong, and he actually was referring for a conveyance to move beer barrels around...some people drink enough to keep one in the fridge in the garage.

But the photograph was really great compared to most on Craigslist.

Yeah, I think you might be right, gweneth. That's probably why it also said it's "for pickup only" like cabinetman pointed out -- it'd be much easier to move a barrel o' beer with a pickup than with some sort of one-wheeled contraption -- whatever that might be called.

Besides, that leaky tire might be helpful when you careen off the road into the sand -- I mean, we are talking Sandy Eggo, CA, aren't we?
