MS Word 2003 Digital Signature capability?

Definitely not wood related - I just got a dozen documents sent back to me with the request to insert digital signature capability into each (Word 2003). I know how to add my own digital signature and have found how to add the Macro in Word 2007 to solicit a signature but nothing I can find tells me how to do it in Word '03 (or if it's capable). I have asked everyone at this place and no luck. All the IT folks are deployed so no help available there.

Thanks Ray - that's a page I found earlier but I think this is a case of not really knowing the meaning of the request by the originator. I can add a signature but the short email I got indicated he wanted a solicitation prompt similar to what Word '07 does. "insert digital signature capability" which is something already inherent in '03 but requires user action.
