I've been wondering when some of your stuff would be published.

I'm not surprised at all. I'm just surprised it just hasn't happened sooner. What I consider most astounding is the trial and error and all the testing you had to go through on each and every one of your procedures. I am very familiar with what it takes to come up with an idea, and then figure out what parts to use and make it work. What we don't see in the posts is all the background work and time you spent to put together just one post, not to mention the many posts of varied techniques. Then after all that preliminary work and testing is done to actually photograph, upload the sequence of pictures, and then make a post and arrange the pictures. Just putting in the text is a major undertaking (for me anyway).

So, what I'm saying, there's a whole lot more to your efforts than just what we see in the posts. For someone like myself that does this work for a living, I say "Thank you", for all the help and shortcuts. You make accurate techniques look so easy, and following your pictures with the detailed explanations is more that just a tutorial. I for one commend you on your expertise and professionalism. If you don't come up with a book, I will be very disappointed.

                  Thank you Cabinetman and Messmaker

You are correct about all the process of making a new jig...just today, I was working on new jig that took me around 2 hours because of the photos (you have to tell those "movie stars" how to act and have to take many "re-takes") but, for me, it's part of the fun and pleasure of the WW hobby.

All the pictures taking and posting process does not look to me as a bother because as you told me once "I would love to leave some legacy for the next generation".

There are many, many amateurs around the world that cannot buy all the machines in the world (and usually they are too shy to tell) but want to make some woodworking. All my posts are aimed to those amateurs...just to show them that one don't need many or fancy or expensive machines to enjoy the hobby and produce nice pieces.

About the book....sorry to disappoint you but, for the time being, it is much more interesting to work in the garage than writing a book...maybe when I get old

                  Best Regards friends

Niki, Congratulations. You deserve it. Not because of your genius (which you have shown) but because of your willingness to share and help others. I for one know that you have given me many tips that have amazed me. I probably owe you at least one or two fingers actually. If not for your methods I am sure I would have tried to come up with ways to do things on my own which were not as safe, simple, or even effective.

Another thing that has always amazed me is that, after I read one of your tips, I usually sit there thinking- "Duh!" Like, why couldn't I have thought of that. I guess that's the way great things work though- you feel like you should have known all along.

Congrats! I hope to see much more from you!
