    People Can Surprise You

Besides this forum I participate in a Boston Whaler boat owners forum.
Over the past few years I developed an internet friendship with an owner in Hawaii, having lived there at one time we had common interests.
Two weeks ago I got an e-mail that SHE was going to be in town and wanted to get together for lunch. Today was the day and I met one of the most facinating and beautiful ladies that you could ask for.
She has lived on boats most of her life and has restored several from the keel up. At 66 she is finishing up another one, a government surplus Boston Whaler. What she has been doing not only requires a woodworking knowledge but fiberglass and mechanical as well.
In her spare time she is a head nurse at the hospital in Kona.

It is great to meet friends face to face that you have never seen befor.

That is great! Keep us posted. It is great to find people with common interests but even better when natural friendships develop.

She sounds like a facinating person. Glad you both had a great time.

did you tell her about this place, I mean, if she does come over here, she will probably fit right in, and heck we could probably use her advice on some of the more eccentric projects some of us come up with
