Earlier this week I would hear a kitten crying when I went out on the back porch to smoke, especially at night and early mornings. When I would try to find it, the crying would stop. This started on Monday and when I was mowing the yard on Wednesday I noticed some clippings behind the travel trailer that had been missed by the sweeper. When I turned off the tractor to rake them up, I heard the crying. In the rear compartment was the kitten, no more than 2-3 weeks old, probably born there and abandoned by it's mother.
I took it in the house and both the Ginger and I fell in love. I was sent to Tractor Supply for some kitten formula and bottles so she could feed him and he seems to be healthy.
And now may I introduce, weighing in at a collosal 7.3 oz, ...

furbabies! We "only" had six up until about early May - then we were adopted by a very sweet "old man". He went through about a name a week until LOML finally came up with the name that stuck: "Harry Squatter"
