Perhaps this fits into a top secret B and D unit dedicated to developing this vast new market. The company's battery powered tape measure and clamp could represent the first efforts to rework tools for the thumbless potential woodworkers.

There are at least 10 books about dog houses, including (I wish I were making this up) "Barkitecture" by Fred Albert.

I've got to get the new edition of Woodworking Terms, and see if I can find "Bench Dogs", "Tree Bark", and "Router Collars". There may be even reasons for power tools to "play dead". Who knows, they might change the terminology in finishing when stain collects in the corner that it "poodles".

The closest my dog gets to woodworking is when he knocks the bark off the tree out back...

Yes! And 'tail vise', 'tail stock', 'chuck key leash', possibly 'haunched tenon'.

Guess what: it's more than just a book! There's also a television show on DIY Network with that name.
