Agreed that the bad language was wrong, and the comment about winning/losing a bit strong if it was said as what was in the article.
On the flip side, I think the current idea of "everybody that plays is a winner and we don't even need to keep score" to avoid damaging the kid's self esteem is just as wrong. They need to learn that life isn't always bright, sunny, and a bed of roses.

You are right about people needing to suck it up and understand someone has to be the loser. But then again, if some of the parents had their way, tball would be a pro sport...
